Scenes Around the Island and Company Arrives

Hola Everyone - hope things are all okay in the great white north. We heard you had a misfortune - a.k.a. blizzard. . . yikes!! don´t shovel too hard!! Actually we had 2 days of not so good weather as well - some strong winds and a little rain which did not make for good beach days. The sand was piled up and kind of reminded us of a snow storm in a different setting!!

I am also sending a few more pictures of our Casa - a great place to live for a few months. Warren continues to monitor the grounds and keep up the house hold routines!!

I took some photos of around the island on my daily bike ride to give you an idea of what the island is like. I never tire of the beauitiful caribbean costal ride, the lovely turquoise water and waves crashing against the rocks.

We had a fun few days with our friends Betty and Don who ferried over from Cancun to visit. We spent time roaming the streets of Isla, shopping, tasting the fine cuisine of the island and enjoying a few sols. We ate at Rolandis and enjoyed their famous "salt fish¨

Tradition has it that we end off our days at the famous "tequileria" . . . dancing to 60 and 70´s live music and drinking blue margaritas!! The things you do when incognito in old Mexico.

We were on the beach most of the time which is our favorite thing to do. Senor Mariano (a very friendly beach vendo he had a very profitable day!!

Our next stop will be the island of Holbox where we will visit with Betty and Don for 3 days. Stay tuned for that adventure!
